Example 3:
Mr and Mrs Clark of Stevenage: We were approached by Arch Gardening to quote for a total re-design of two adjacent gardens - to make them into one.
A garden designer had done the plans, which included a pond. After many meetings a final plan was chosen and a quote given. The quote was accepted and work started in April - in the snow.
It took four weeks and Mr and Mrs Clark are delighted. Here's what Mr and Mrs Clark had to say after the job was complete
"Many thanks for all the work that has transformed our garden from an unkempt jungle into a pleasure to behold. The whole project has attracted favourable comments from several of our friends and neighbours and the pond is absolutely amazing. Example 4:
Mr and Mrs Wheeler from Langford sent us the following after we carried out the construction of their pond:
"Many thanks for your help and expertise in the design and construction of our pond. We are delighted with the finished job and would like to thank the construction team for carrying it out in such a professional and courteous manner with the minimum amount of disruption to our garden. They cleaned up when finished and with your planting the whole thing looks as if it has been in place for yeard and does not have that awful 'new look'. If any of your future customers want to see a finished installation please do not hesitate to contact us we are more than willing to show it off."
Examples of Pond Construction
Here are some example of pond construction projects we have undertaken for our customers. Click any photo to enlarge.
Example 1:
We were asked by a property development company to finish off a raised circular pond they had built in a sheltered housing complex. We decided to have the liner made to measure. Precise measurements were taken and the rubber liner was made to the exact size in the factory. The liner was slotted into the brick work and then secured by attractive wooden coping.
Box welded liners are suitable for circular, square and oblong ponds. The end result is a much neater finish with no folds or pleats in the liner. Please contact us for more information.
Example 2:
Mr and Mrs Annand of Welwyn Garden City contacted us after seeing our advert in a local publication. We visited to discuss their requirements and soon after made a second visit to carry out a site survey.
A new pond was required in the centre of the original lawn. The garden was built on a slope so getting the pond levels correct was vitally important.
The customer was very keen to encourage more wildlife to the pond so a beach area for easy access was an essential requirement. A quote was given and the work was carried out in September.
